In their latest PR stunt, Foxy Bingo have organised a speed dating event where a variety of minor celebrities took part to meet and chat to online bingo players from the site.

Not suggesting that all of Foxy’s players are female, but all the celebrities who took part were men, many of whom I had never heard of before today.

The ‘celebs’ involved were:

1. Richard Hounslow – British Silver Medal winning canoeist from London 2012
2. Jack Green – Team GB 400m athlete
3. Romeo – rapper from ‘So Solid Crew’
4. Gaz Beadle – from ‘Geordie Shore’
5. Lucien Laviscount – actor as seen in ‘Waterloo Road’ and ‘Trollied’.
6. Charlie King – from ‘The Only Way is Essex’.
7. Sam Cussins – from ‘Made in Chelsea’.
8. James Argent – from ‘The Only Way is Essex’.

This list is also apparently how the dates ranked in order of preference by the female guests, with each being scored on the night.

Foxy Bingo’s advertising philosophy has very much been to associate itself with the celebrity culture and reality TV shows that it’s demographic are seen to enjoy watching.

Foxy also sponsors Jeremy Kyle of course.

I must admit none of the shows are something I am personally interested in, except perhaps Waterloo Road and Trollied, which are excellent.
